I have always been interested in art. Since the age of six I have wanted to be an artist. Art is something that is in
me, needing to be expressed. Even in highschool I would doodle and sketch portraits of my friends. I attended the Alberta
Art College at SAIT. In the mid 1980s, after raising a small family, I travelled Western Canada drawing channeled spirit
guides for people. I have done commissions sporadically all my life, but I have been a dedicated professional artist and teacher
since 1999. I teach art three times a week for Canadian Mental Health Association consumers in Vernon. I was commissioned
to create the poster for "Awakening the Spirit 2005" (the CMHA annual art exhibit).
